The Staffpoint Early 2025 Update is here
As the snow falls, so does a new Staffpoint update.
Please see below for some highlights about what this new update will provide. We’ll be rolling out updates by the middle of January 2025 and wanted to give you a preview of what’s going to pop up.
Global Assignment Details

Say goodbye to the hassle of managing the details of individual Client assignments separately. With our new Assignment Details Management repository, you can now oversee all your clients’ assignment details in one place, saving you time and effort. Whether it’s adding new assignments, setting prompts, defining default answers, or adjusting visibility, this new feature enhances flexibility and consistency by allowing shared details to be applied across multiple Clients effortlessly.
Want to customize assignment details for specific Clients? No problem. From each Client Location you’ll be able to pull specific details out of your repository and then easily modify prompts, default answers, and visibility settings to meet their unique needs – without affecting any other location. This new update empowers you with more control over your Assignment Details, and the ability to achieve more while spending less effort and time micromanaging them.
Multi Factor Authentication (MFA)

We’re pleased to introduce Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to our platform, adding an extra layer of security to safeguard your account. With MFA, you can now verify your identity through email, ensuring that only authorized users gain access to the platform.
This update significantly reduces the risk of unauthorized access, bringing to Staffpoint the modern security experience you expect. You’ll have the flexibility to enable MFA for specific Client users and Personnel, and optionally to make it a requirement. Enhance your account security today and protect your valuable information with this powerful new feature.
- MFA System Preferences: Administrators can now globally enable or require MFA for Admins, Clients, and Personnel. These settings include detailed permissions and validation to ensure email addresses are configured before activation.
- Profile Enhancements: Individual “Enable MFA by Email” options added to user profiles, with enforced compliance when MFA is required.
- New Login Workflow: Includes responsive screens for MFA security code entry and error handling, with email-based MFA code delivery.
- MFA Email Design: Consistent with other system emails, featuring a prominently displayed security code and expiration mechanism.
- Feature Toggle: MFA functionality can be globally disabled, hiding all associated UI and functionality.
Infrastructure Upgrade

We also have scheduled downtime coming up. This Saturday, January 11th, starting 02:00 AM to 05:00 AM EST, we will be taking the servers offline to perform maintenance as well as move our service to a new infrastructure. The goal is to provide higher system performance & scalability, and eliminate some stability issues that have plagued our legacy infrastructure up till now.
This upgrade reflects our commitment to providing a faster, more reliable platform to meet evolving user needs. It will also put in place the building blocks to enable us to deliver updates in a more timely manner, as well as enable quicker deployment with less downtime going forward.
